ITALTRONIC IS INNOVATION: Introduction of new materials

Dear Customers,

For some time now, we started the production with the new plastic blend PC / ABS Cycoloy 7240 Sabic.
Now, the enclosures made with this plastic material are stored and ready to be sold.

Meanwhile we are running out the stocks of enclosures made with the previous plastic. Lines actually made with blend PC/ABS are:

• MODULBOX XT/XTS
• MODULBOX COMPACT
• RAILBOX
• RAILBOX COMPACT
• CBOX
• INCABOX XT/XTS
• EMBEDDED BOX

 As soon as possible we will replace the material also on the following lines currently made with PPO:

• INCABOX
• ONE
• MODULBOX ONE
• ITOUCH
• IGLASS

• Data sheet new material
• Document UL

As previously announced, we confirm that we intend to complete the first phase of the replacement of the material by June 2015 and the second one that involves the lines currently made with PPO (MODULBOX ONE and INCABOX) within the end of 2015.

As you already know, from previous communications, the new and the old material are both EXCELLENT PLASTICS UL CERTIFIED, however, the Cycoloy 7240 better meets the UL certification requirements on final applications, has better technical features and is made by the most important company in this sector.

If you have certified your electronic application with our enclosures, you will have to ask for a simple adaptation on the list of materials. So, please discuss with your certifier about the UL management. We are forced to change the materials for reasons beyond our will. We will not change the codes of our enclosures, so please tell us your needs, especially when we will sell products made with both plastics. For example, please request the dismissal of outdated enclosures, if you need, in time for the change of UL certification. On the other hand, the anticipation of supplies made with the new Cycoloy 7240 Sabic.

As soon as possible, we will provide you with the calendar while stocks of enclosures made with the old material last and the corresponding date from which sales will be done only with the Cycoloy 7240.
